Berardo's Collection

The Berardo Collection Museum - Modern and Contemporary Art was created by Decree-Law 164/2006 on the 9th of August 2006, with the goal of establishing a permanent Museum based on the Collection, and located in the Exhibition Centre (Module 3) of Centro Cultural de Belém.

Presently counting with 862 works in its collection, the Museum program will follow a rotation between the several art movements that compose the Berardo Collection. The permanent collection of the Museum, together with temporary exhibitions, is expected to create an attractive cultural dynamic for a diversified public, and develop habits of artistic consumption.
